Wine Barrel Console Table — Reclaimed American Cooperage, Artisan-Built

Hewn from authentic American wine barrels and shaped with the discipline of early New England craftsmen, this console table pays homage to the coopers and joiners who worked the ports and shipyards of Boston Harbor in the years leading up to 1773.

Each stave once held deep-aged wine, much like the barrels that once rolled across colonial docks carrying molasses, rum, and goods bound for the New World. We reclaim these timbers as our forefathers did — honoring material, preserving character, and giving new purpose to wood seasoned by time and trade.

Hand-formed curvature, natural burgundy wine staining, and cooper rivet marks speak to its origin. Each surface is hand-sanded and finished in our workshop with care, preserving the barrel’s history while elevating it into heirloom furniture for the modern American home.

Graceful, narrow, and purposeful, this console finds its place in entry halls, gathering rooms, wine cellars, and tavern-style entertaining spaces — a refined reminder of our nation's early craftsmanship and resolve.
