As a youngman, I knew that i wanted to be a craftsman, I was very fortunate to be raised in Ohio, an area sarrounded by the original craftsman, the Amish. I spent years learing "Shaker style" and "Mission" style furniture processes from them, until I felt i was in a learning plateua at which time I went to the Green Mountains of Vermont and NH, another area renowned for the highest standards in woodworking, which is why you will se a very large influence of Craftsman and Mission style in our designs. With 18 years of experience in the woodworking industry, we at Southern Yankee Woodworks, LLC strive for excellence in every piece that is built.
So wether its a dining table or a set of occassional tables or maybe a personalized wooden sign, We aspire to provide you with valuable woodworking pieces to be a part of your family for generations.
