The legs and frame retain the natural curve earned through the barrel-making craft, while metal cross supports and a forged-style footrest reinforce the structure, echoing the ironwork found in early American taverns and trading houses. The solid white-oak seat — finished in Michael’s Cherry — offers a warm colonial tone reminiscent of Federal-era furnishings and refined public-house interiors.
